I came across these photos I took almost 30 years ago --- a piece of memorable moments in Philippine showbiz. It was Famas 27th Annual Awards night, held May 20, 1978 at PICC, Manila. The top winners --- Dolphy and Susan Roces, their first Famas trophy.

Susan Roces is always a refreshing sight to behold! Still the Face That Refreshes and the Queen of All Movie Queens. Hope we could also see her FAMAS Best Actress photos for Gumising Ka Maruja. I hope she will be nominated again and win!
