Thank you so much for this entry. These are two of my favorite voices on radio. Is there any way we can nominate Tiya Dely for National Artist or some high honor?

A million thanks for these articles as I am reminded of my younger days. For how can I ever forget the voice of Eddie Ilarde as he uttered: "Marami pong salamat, give my regards to the family, mabalos!" followed by Kahapon Lamang's beautiful theme song (Can someone pleae share with me that beautiful melody. I would love to hear it again and again and again.) And the equally amiable Dely Magpayo as she announces: "Ito ang inyong, Tiya Dely!" (Does anyone have a copy of her program's theme music?

Hi Sir,

The title of Kuya Eddie Ilarde's Kahapon lamang
instrumental music theme song is "Roses"! There's a vocal version in you tube by Sammy Kaye but I can't find the instrumental version they used at the show!
