The movie Fan Girl won the Best Picture Award in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal held on Sunday night, December 27. It also romped away other major awards- Best Actor (Paulo Avelino), Best Actress(Charlie Dizon), Best Director and Best Screenplay (Antoinette Jadaone), Best Cinematography (Neil Daza), Best Editing (Benjamin Tolentino) and Best Sound (Vincent Villa).
Magikland received four awards- Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects, Best Musical Score, FPJ Memorial Award
The Boy Foretold By The Stars took home the 2nd Best Picture Award and Tagpuan, the 3rd Best Picture Award.
Other awardees are Michael de Mesa (Best Supporting Actor- Isa Pang Bahaghari); Shaina Magdayao (Best Supporting Actress- Tagpuan)
