CHIQUITO IN "GORIO AND HIS JEEPNEY"- TV SHOW Circa 66
"Gorio and his Jeepney," was one of Chiquito's early TV shows. It was aired in 1966 at ABC-Channel 5. The popular daily cartoon strip by Ben Alcantara was also made into a movie in 1962.
He is a Jeepney driver and a family man inspired from Ben Alcantara comic series and a live action tv series aired on TV 5! from 1966-69 sitcom and made into 1962 movie by the late Chiquito and Yolanda Guevara as his spouse and a mother of two kids as serialized on Manila Times newspaper and now based in Los Angeles CA now retired and become a family driver in Southern California .thanks for the information about your comments in your opinion .from:Wayne
A remake of 1966-69 sitcom a dream role wants to portray as the jeepney driver & a breadwinner of the family based from the comic strip series by Ben Alcantara now based in Los Angeles CA former author & illustrator from the Philippines a new role will be Janno Gibbs or Ogie Alcasid took the television character influenced by Chiquito in film & television underway to TV5 early next year in 2016.
