THE FIFTIES # 210: DANILO MONTES, ROSITA NOBLE AND PEDRO FAUSTINO IN "AGUA BENDITA (A RELIGIOUS OFFERING)" (1954)/ Re-posted

Not to be confused with the top rating 2010 ABS-CBN TV soap... Did you know that there was a movie made titled Agua Bendita? It was released and shown in 1954. Surprisingly, veteran character actor Pedro Faustino was in the lead role, his name above the title. Faustino was a familiar figure in many photoplays playing nominal characters as a priest, peasant or farmer, father or grandfather of lead stars.

Simon,
Pedro Faustino enjoyed a long career in the movies playing father-figures, grandfathers and especially priests. Danilo Montes, Rosita Noble and Ludy Carmona became leads, but what happened to the other actors? There's even a newly introduced actress Lolita Bituin, who I never heard of and probably never made another movie.
