Gulong ng Palad was one of the most successful radio dramas in the history Philippine radio. The soap opera, written by Lina Flor, was first heard over DZRH in 1949. It ran from 1949 to 1956. A movie was made in 1950 starring Jose Padilla, Jr. as Carding and Arsenia Francisco as Luisa.
