PUGO ENDORSING PCIBANK (CIRCA 1973)
Even the great funnyman Pugo had one, doing a commercial ad with PCIBank in 1973.
Simon, please feature naman Tawag Ng Tanghalan. Ito lang yata ang nag-iisang singing contest noong dekada 60, di ba? Nasaan na kaya yung mga naging champion dito? Natatandaan ko lang sina Novo Bon, Ofelia Dayrit, Baby Carmelita, Boy Leonardo (and of course Nora Aunor, Jose Yap, Edgar Mortiz). Si Diomedes Maturan at Pepe Pimentel ba dito rin galing?

James, i-try ko to get enough materials for Tawag ng Tanghalan. Si Diomedes Maturan ay galing sa Tawag, not sure of Pepe Pimentel.
Video 48, Pepe Pimentel was the very first grand champion of Tawag ng Tanghalan. The last was Nobo Bono of "If you go away" rendition.
My mom is Baby Carmelita. We are living in Hong Kong eversince she came here in 1967.
