Amalia Fuentes and Romeo Vasquez love team is one of the top love teams of all time in Philippine movie history. They made countless box office hit movies. They were the no. 1 love team in the 60s, and their popularity continued till the 80s. Their reunion film (Pwede Ako, Pwede Ka Pa Ba) in the 80s, was the top grosser of the 1st Metro Manila Film Festival.
I had seen almost all the movies starred in by Amalia and Romeo, since their pairing at Sampaguita and Vera Perez studios and became freelancers. Indeed theirs was one of the most popular love teams in Philippine movie history.

pwede ako pwede ka pa ba movie was shot in 1976. I was an extra there. sa pen mla ang shooting nun. kasama ko si Tonio Gutierrez na nag buhat kay Amalia in an egyptian scene.
