In 1959, Sampaguita Pictures released "Pitong Pagsisisi," as part of their Lenten offering. Dubbed as "the biggest array of stars in the greatest motion picture of all time!" Surely' it's one of the biggest in the history of Philippine movies--- Look at the stars--- Carmen Rosales, Gloria Romero, Paraluman, Rita Gomez, Ric Rodrigo, Lolita Rodriguez, Luis Gonzales, Van de Leon, Amalia Fuentes, Juancho Gutierrez, Susan Roces, Romeo Vasquez, Barbara Perez, Marlene Dauden, Carlos Salazar, Tony Marzan, Tony Cayado, Eddie Garcia, Liberty Ilagan, Eddie Gutierrez...

The movie was based on the story by Ben Gallardo and was serialized on the pages of "Bulaklak' and "Alimyon" magazines.

All my all-time favorite Sampaguita actors and actresses of my time. Premiere also had a movie with an all-star cast, all of Premiere Productions top actors and actresses were in Bicol Express. Have you by any chance featured this movie already?

Thanks for the link. Nasa Bicol Express pala si Cynthia Zamora. Do know if the movie is in existence? Kasi sabi ni Cynthia Zamora sa akin, ay nawala lahat ang pelikula niya. Nakakapanghinayang.

I have seen this before when it was shown on TV, somewhere in the nineties. Kung di ako nagkakamali eh, seven episodes itong movie at ang ending lagi ay nasa simbahan o nasa altar ang mga main cast, nagrerepent o di kaya ay nagdadasal. Dahil fan ako ni Amalia Fuentes, unforgettable sa akin ang episode nila ni Juancho Gutierrez, yung madre si La Fuentes at nadiscover niyang lalaking biktima ata ng aksidente ay dati niyang nobyo, at si El Juancho nga. Nagkita sina Amalia at Juancho at nagwawala si Juancho dahil di niya makalimutan ang pag ibig niya kay Amalia. Ang ending eh pinayagan si Amalia lumabas ng kumbento para makasama si Juancho. Dito rin sa movie na ito kung saan una kong napanood si Amalia Fuentes kung gaano siya kaganda noong araw.
