"Huling Awit," Parlatone's musical production starring Elsa Oria and Jose Padilla which opens at the Grand theatre this morning is based upon "Nagising sa Sarap," Narciso S. Asistio's popular novel. The story is about the tragic love of Horacio Silvio (Jose Padilla), a poor composer, and Rosa Corrales, a pampered daughter of a rich family. The two married each other in spite of parental objections and the sufferings which ensued and the complications created by frequent misunderstanding provided the picture with many poignant touches.
