In preparation for a movie they want to make, a film director and his screenwriter research on the life of the national hero and get contradictory testimonies regarding his retraction and other issues. They find out that each person from the past that they encounter has created his or her own Rizal according to his or her own need. In the end, they decide not to make the movie on Rizal.
