This movie is like the Philippine version of "Star is Born" which was released in 1980. The collaboration of the 'Superstar' and the 'Action Star'. Indeed, the same year that marks the "golden era" of Philippine cinema. Beautiful soundtracks, iconic scenes, and an amazing melodramatic direction led by the late Mario O'Hara.
