THE SIXTIES # 331: FERNANDO POE, JR., CESAR RAMIREZ, AURA AUREA, CAROL VARGA, OSCAR KEESEE, RUBEN RUSTIA, QUIEL SEGOVIA, PAQUITO DIAZ, VIC DIAZ AND EDDIE FERNANDEZ IN "SA PAGITAN NG DALAWANG MATA" (1963)

Fernando Poe, Jr. is Sgt. Dan Barrion, a soldier (remember the iconic and legendary Daniel Barrion, his story may have started here) and Cesar Ramirez is Bando, a guerilla and a good friend to Sgt. Barrion. Both were war heroes and hailed by their countrymen for their heroics and bravery. After the war, they parted ways and chose different paths.

Sgt. Barrion returned to his unit and the uneducated and stubborn Bando, on the other hand, chose what best suited to his needs. With his men still with him, Bando resorted into looting and banditry. The group occupied the town of Balong Bato, Bando's hometown who once disowned and did him wronged. The town's war hero became a menace to his barrio folks.

Isolated, the town needed a hero.

Sought for help, Sgt. Barrion came to the rescue. The two crossed path again... this time not as friend but enemy.
