PRODUCT ADS OF THE 50s

While scouring for some articles and materials for my next blog entry, I came across some vivid illustrations of various product ads of the 50s. Here are some cool glimpses of the 50s product advertisements which I’m pretty sure most of us are too old to remember and hopefully could bring back those wonderful and golden memories of days gone.

It was directed by National artist Lamberto Avellana. She later appeared in two other great films, Badjao (1957) and Biyaya ng Lupa (1959) -see link.

Did you know that child star Julie Vega was introduced in her first movie with a screen name of Darling Postigo? The movie, Ang Pag-ibig Ko'y Huwag Mong Sukatin, released in 1975, starred Dante Rivero, Boots Anson-Roa, Ronaldo Valdez, Vic Silayan, Oscar Obligacion and directed by National Artist Lamberto Avellana, her discoverer.
