Oh Sendang, released in 1961, was one of the two known surviving movies of the well-loved and laughable comic tandem of Pugo and Bentot. The other one was Nukso nang Nukso (1960). The movie, one of the many spin-offs of the highly popular radio program, Sebya Mahal Kita, was one of the many sequels they did under LVN Pictures. It tells of the wacky escapades of the scheming Mang Mariano ‘Nano’ Batecabeza (played by Pugo) and his overgrown son, Bitoy (Bentot). The movie dwells on situation comedy rather than the typical slapstick and toilet humor. Here are the two-part film clips where writer “Beer” Flores used the plot’s twists and turns to make the audience laugh.

meron akong nakita sa Quiapo recently "dashalotsanonsense" title with Pugo, Leroy Salvador, etc. Don't know kung nandun si Bentot. Of course pirata yung copy, madami pang classics movie na unti unting lumalabas sa paligid ng Arlegui.
