1978: THE MINIMUM WAGE : 18 PESOS PER DAY
In 1978, labor groups were asking for a 18 pesos a day minimum wage. The government was adamant and said NO to the demands. Well, that's only 540 pesos a month. Not enough to buy a sack of rice in today's prices.
