Pretty Ester Magalona also one of the latest discoveries of LVN plays second female role, while Reynaldo Dante plays the second male role.
"Angelita (Akoy'y Nagkasala)" is a story that has all the qualities of a picture that is well liked by Filipino audiences. It is about a girl reporter and her romance with Rogelio, dashing young inventor from the States who recently arrived in the islands only to find his mother and his cousin (Ester Magalona in dire need of financial assistance and to top it all the mother gets sick seriously and is about to die. How Rogelio and Angelita as sweethearts together with Ester Magalona and ReynaldoDante (who is also a reporter) manage together to overcome everything forms one of the most touching climaxes ever written for a local movie story.
Well-known supporting players are featured among them, Cecilio Joaquin, Amador Alegre, Vicenta Fernandez, Jose Luz Bernardo and Benny Mack.
"Angelita (Ako'y Nagkasala)" was directed by young, versatile, record maker Guillermo Icasiano, one of the most prolific directors in the Philippines today. The music was composed by none other than Francisco Buencamino Jr.
