Big stars in Philippine cinema appeared in two great movies produced and released by Sampaguita Pictures. The movies, "Kamandag" (1959) and "Berdugo" (1960) had incredible cast headlined by Fred Montilla, Rita Gomez, Paraluman, Eddie Garcia, Van de Leon, Jose Padilla, Jr., Daisy Romualdez, Tony Marzan, Rosa Mia and Marlene Dauden, all respectable names in the movie industry. I wonder if both films are still available in the archives of Sampaguita.

Old movies have good qualities of actors and actresses. The movies were not too sexy or violent..
