MORE ON PRE-WAR TAGALOG MOVIES: FERNANDO POE AND ROSA DEL ROSARIO IN "ZAMBOANGA" (1937)

"A romance of the Sulu Sea!... a Beautiful Tale of the Moro Sea Gypsies!" says the ad in this 1937 movie, "Zamboanga."

Produced by Filippine Films, the movie was directed by Eduardo de Castro and starred Fernando Poe and Rosa del Rosario.

It was released and shown at Lyric Theater, December 7- 15, 1937.
