The days of the mighty Vikings and the savage Tartars were relived on the silver screen in People’s Pictures’ production of Thor.

The movie, filmed and released in 1962, was based on the novel by Francisco V. Coching, serialized in Liwayway magazine. Mario Montenegro played the titular role of Thor with Olivia Cenizal as Isolde, Bob Soler as Angor, Carlos Padilla, Jr as Jamal, Carol varga as Singred, Lauro Delgado as Valkhan, Runben Rustia as Mobak, Africa dela Rosa as the queen, Jose Garcia as Blakan and Bert Olivar as the minister.
