Video killed the radio star, and pirated DVDs killed the video store. So why is Video 48 still around? Because it did something the chain stores failed to do. From the day it opened nearly 20 years ago, Video 48 offered something more than plain distribution. It’s called curation. The owner, Simon Santos, lives and breathes film, and has the most informed selection of local and Hollywood classics among all the video shops in the metro.
