"WARAY-WARAY" (1954): SOFIA'S NEXT SCREENING AT CCP/ JANUARY 15 (2011)

"So bright, so cheerful, so downright funny, so musical to boot, Waray-Waray is etched in the mind of movie fans as synonymous with Nida and Nestor. The theme song, a brisk ditty, became a sort of national anthem, much to the surprise of composer Juan Silos, Jr., who composed it in the bathroom." (Source: Dona Sisang Filipino Movies)
