  1. These brought me back good memories when I was young. I remember skipping school just to see these movies on noontime TV. This was the golden age of western action movies. Thanks.

Totoo ba yun?

  3. James, Soliman Brothers was shown in 1967. Jess Lapid was killed in 1968. His last full feature movie was Huling Baraha; 3 Kilabot sa Barilan was his last, unfinished movie. Siguro ito ang sinasabi ng brother mo.

  4. Was there a sequel to Valiente Brothers? I know Jun Aristorenas did 2 sequels for Cuadro de Jack,
Deadly Jacks and Jack of Hearts.

  5. Simon,
I think the last almost completed picture of Jess Lapid was Simarron Brothers. A small part of the movie showed only the back of Jess Lapid which was a double. His other last film was 3 Kilabot Sa Barilan which his character "Kardong Kidlat" was killed off at the start of the movie and Danny Rojo replaced him as "Alamid" to join Tigre and Gringo.

What was Jun Aristorenas last movie as a star and as a director?
