Fernando Poe, Jr. is Eusebio Natividad, but people call him Eseng 45, a Manila policeman, known for his honesty, fair judgment and incredible marksmanship, His fairness in handling cases wins him admirers, but it also earns him enemies who want him dead.
Married to Digna (Jenny Syquia) who, though loving and dedicated, often drives him crazy with her mad streak of jealousy. In one of his official functions, he meets Elvie (Ina Raymundo) who owns a nightclub. Though not really a rounder, he falls for this street-smart female who also serves as his informer.
How long can he keep his illicit affair from the prying eyes of his jealous wife? And how long can he escape the evil schemes of the people who want him dead.
