Sports scribes were recently invited to witness Flash Elorde display his wares in the ring. It appeared to be one of those ordinary routine chores for sports writers, except that the champ was not fighting a real match but enacting a fight sequence for the movie cameras. The “Flash” has become a' movie actor.
He is portraying himself in C. Santiago Film Organization’s filmization of his life story entitled "The Flash Elorde Story.” He was quite a revelation as an actor, too. He surprised the scribes who had seen the rushes of the movie with his very natural acting. The champ is reported getting a neat P30,000 and a sizable percentage of the profit of the picture for his histrionic effort.
