Hi Simon,
ReplyDeleteHello and magandang hapon!
I've found a listing for an earlier pairing of Elwood Perez, Gabby and Janice for Gabby's GC Films Inc. Is it possible there's one earlier than I'll Wait For You?
1982 – Miracle Of Love (GC)
[release date 10th July 1982]
Director Elwood Perez, Producer Rollie Concepcion
Cast Gabby Concepcion, Janice de Belen, Roxanne Abad Santos
I'm not sure if you've seen my newer blog, but my research on Pinoy films for the export market is on www.bamboogodsandbionicboys.blogspot.com
I'd love to hear your feedback!
Warmest regards, Andrew
Mabuhay, Andrew! I'm not aware of any Gabby-Elwood pairing before "I'll Wait For You" except for "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" under Regal Films and "Miracle of Love"- the first movie venture of GC Films.
ReplyDeletei would rather than you feature janice in relation to "flordeluna", the career-making and trend-setting soap that's undoubtedly the milestone of her showbiz career. long after the gabby-janice movies have been relegated to the dustbin of history, "flordeluna" the series would be fondly remembered in the hearts of the viewing public.

ReplyDeleteHi,
