That Carrillo cover is amazing. Despite its flat colors, they were combined to create almost like a photographic effect.

I remember his illustrations for KANDELERONG PILAK and I think they were the best works of Mr. Carillo, and IMHO, one of the crowning glories of the golden age of Philippine komiks.

You have an amazing collection of the Filipino artists' best works (although they were frowned upon by the so-called high-brow, mean-spirited critics of olden days), they are now considered among the best works internationally - something all Filipinos should be proud of.

I always anticipate to see more of these wonderful artworks. Thank you so much for re-introducing me to the things I had only partly seen in my childhood.

They really rock my socks! :)
