The movie won the FAMAS award for best supporting actress for Marissa Delgado and best child performer for Arnold Gamboa.

The fifth film in its "Overlooked Films, Underrated Filmmakers" series, the movie, based on true-to-life story of Rollie and Auring Suclad, starred Christopher de Leon, Lorna Tolentino, Tirso Cruz III, Daniel Fernando, Juan Rodrigo, Marita Zobel, Sylvia Sanchez, Ali Sotto, under Butch Perez direction.
