BALDO MARRO, 69

Character actor and stunt director Baldo Marro,  Teodoro Galan Baldomaro in real life, passed away in the early morning of October 22, Sunday. He was 69. He died due to health complications according to his son, Monching Baldomaro.

Marro appeared in countless action movies and has been part in the careers of top action stars like Lito Lapid, Rudy Fernandez, Robin Padilla, Ramon 'Bong' Revilla, among others.

He made a stir in the 1988 Metro Manila Film Festival, when he romped away the Best Actor Award, playing the role of a dedicated policeman in "Patrolman," edging favorite Christopher de Leon. He also appeared in another starring role in 1990, "Tumakbo Ka... Hanggang May Lupa," an entry in that year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
