Watching a censored or mutilated version of a bomba movie could flare up one's mind and you felt like being robbed of your hard-earned money. I experienced it in some occasion in the past and leave the movie house disgusted and frustrated.

I'm not a bomba lover, but the article seemed to have missed one thing: if you want to see a bomba film without cut, go to the provinces. The theaters there (in my experience, the Bicol region), were given the full-version of the movie that the Censors have cut in Manila. What's more, even if the film is for adults only, the rating there would always be changed to: FOR ALL AGES. Yes, indeed, everything there was for GENERAL PATRONAGE. I was a child then, and I could go in and out of theaters, whether the show was bombahan or not. I've seen them all, apart from Uhaw and Nympha. The list is quite long, in fact: Gutom, Hayok, sidhi, Dayupay, Init, and God knows (or is it the Devil?) what else.

The correction to this article may be too late, (at least 40 years old), but “huli man daw at magaling, maihahabol pa rin." There. :-)
